Masterclass: Creating An Amazing Night Time Routine

Night time routine

What you do in the last hour of the day before you go to sleep is also crucial. If you don't let go of the day's worries and don't relax you might be in for a very restless sleep.

I suggest 3 things for people to do and make a habit within the few hours before you go to bed.

EOD Reports…

After you finish your work day grab out a pen and paper and start writing out your EOD report. An EOD stands for (End of day report) which consist of questions you should answer to be prepared for tomorrow as well as assess what went well today.

EOD report template here:

List your 3 MITS for tomorrow!

List everything that you have to do that is not scheduled in my calendar.

What did I do well?

What can I do better?

How can I help someone else tomorrow?

Relax and unwind…

It’s important to get rid of all technologies and do something that relaxes you with 60-30 minutes before bed. I would suggest to put your phone on charge, set your alarm for tomorrow and pick something from the list below:

  • Mediating
  • Jouraling
  • Stretching
  • Foam rolling
  • Reading
  • Colouring in
  • Family time
  • Cleaning up your room
  • Put some music on

If you can’t sleep…

Generally if you’re struggling to sleep it can be because your subconscious mind is still thinking about everything that has gone on that day or what you're stressed about. I suggest you do a brain dump. A brain dump is simply putting all your thoughts, worries and to-dos on paper.

By getting it all out of your head you're able to sleep in peace. I am sure you don't want to be waking up still thinking about what you were worried about yesterday.

I Will attach a brain dump template you can use. (Please make a copy)
