Words Of Affirmation


The human brain for the body is like a CPU for a computer. Whatever you feed into it as the input, your output will be processed along those lines. People who self-loathe and bring themselves down are ridden with depression and anxiety disorders. How will they feel good about themselves when their brain is fed with self-derogatory remarks? Our Day 4 is about;
words of affirmation, imperative for a healthy and happy mind and heart.


Affirmations are positive statements that can aid you in challenging and overcoming self-sabotaging negative thoughts, beliefs, and actions. When you repeat them often and believe what you’re actually saying and the emotions you feel attached to the words, you can start noticing small yet positive changes in your life and thought processes. 


I remember I looked in the mirror one day and just cried. I hated the way my body looked and I felt no one in this world would want to be with someone who was (so i thought) overweight…which i look back on now and definitely wasn't. 


The first thing I started to do was go for walks and just speak words of affirmation out loud to change my thought matter and belief system. And you know what….it worked! 


It took persistence and awkward speaking out loud with everyone walking past me but it actually worked. I have loved my body no matter what it looks like every since I made this change. 


And still today, whenever I get a bit of anxiety or feel upset, defeated or disheartened I speak an affirmation OUT LOUD to myself to remind myself those thoughts I have are not true.


Here are a few affirmations I suggest you make a habit of saying every time you brush your teeth or feel that anxious energy or tension in the body. 


 Put it up on your bathroom mirror or in your car and read them out loud daily. I say do it when you brush your teeth as it's a great way to habit stack and you will do it 2 x daily….hopefully lol.

“I don’t chance; I attract. Whatever belongs to me will find me.”

 

Money Affirmation

“Money comes to me easily and effortlessly.”

 

Confidence Affirmation

“I am worthy, I am confident, I am loved, and I choose to believe this.”
